Augustus was living at home at age 5 in the 1860 Census. In 1870 he is still home at age 15 and the Census notes that he cannot write (but can read?).

An A. O. Maberry married Belle Beam in Logan County, AR on 11 Oct 1884, was this Augustus? He doesn’t seem to be in the 1880 Census.
